This beautiful card is about the power of prayer, how it can transform, heal, soothe, quiet the soul. Prayer is surrender, acknowledging a greater world than oneself, a deeper meaning, a wider sky. With or without words, prayer expresses the exhaustion of ego, and replaces it with the humbleness of heart, the voice of spirit, the bow of one’s being. It is coming home to oneself, looking deeply within, being humbled and awed, as one sees the vast depths and widths of the greater world. Prayer comes from recognizing and accepting our vulnerability, our fragility, our wandering and prays to all that greater than ourselves, for guidance, protection, peace and love.
