‘Cupid’

‘Cupid’s Message’
by Florence Mary Anderson (1889 – 1945 Scottish)

This card is about love, allowing love, recognizing love has its own way, its serendipity. As the Desiderata quotes ‘Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.’ One cannot force love, but neither can one avoid it when the time is at hand. Cupid’s arrow goes through all hurt, all hiding, finding its mark and heart. The message of this card is there is nothing to do about love, it happens when it happens, where, who, what and when.
