‘Constellation’
‘Stella Maris, Star of the Sea’
by Katharine Cameron (1874–1965 Scottish)
The Constellation card is about recognizing and honoring the unique being one is, an incomparable incarnation. One is born of a certain place, in a certain time, under a unique pattern of horoscope and starsigns, as a name, as a sex, as a son, a daughter, a brother, a sister, from the meeting and intimacy of two other unique beings, each they themselves from different histories, pasts, strengths and weaknesses. One is a combination of biology, psychology, physiology and social environment, with personal tastes, talents and travels. One’s path is unique, whom one meets, where one goes, what one does… All this to say that you are unique, with all your special gifts and presence, of here and now, never to be repeated.
