‘Day’

‘Fairy Among Flowers’
by Erich Schütz (1886-1937 Austrian)

“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do and mostly Live.” ― Dalai Lama XIV

We have the day, nothing else is certain. This card is about the challenge of fully considering that predicament, and mindfully living it, moving forward. Our lives are made of days stacked end to end, but another reality is that our life is made of each single day, that each day is a life within itself. That as our lives are lived, each day, how our days are spent, so too our lives. This card calls out our unconscious actions, unnecessary or wasted energies within the life microcosm of the day… to choose love or not, to choose gratitude or not, to choose light or not. Seize the day, the saying goes, and the remembrance of yesterday and promise of tomorrow will create the life you wish.
