This card is a reflection on the nature of a gift. One can give or receive a gift, and both can offer surprising reward. Also there are small gifts and other more significant gifts. To be able to offer a true gift in times of change or need is a true blessing indeed, and to recieve a true gift with grace and gratitude can be beautifully humbling. Be careful with gifts around fairies, as they see gifts as a sort of commerce, as a debt. Juniper Rose in her video ‘How to Not Piss Off a Fairy‘ talks well of this, and also here is more writing about gifts -‘Should You Accept a Gift From a Fairy?‘ Oftentimes there is much more in a gift that what is being given or received.
