‘Peacock’

‘I Rode Upon a Peacock’
by Hilda T. Miller (1876-1939 American)

‘When I went to Fairyland,
visiting the Queen,
I rode upon a peacock,
blue and gold and green.’

Peacocks represent the best of royalty, the higher values of wealth, beauty, elegance, prosperity and freedom. They also indicate new beginnings, growth, protection, self-expression, and spiritual awakening. The peacock card calls to your inner being, your internal richness, reflects the absolute abundance and color of the world, both outside and in. The peacock is a mirror to and reminder of one’s true values, those of truth, justice, maturity and compassion. This card reminds one of the throne within, the seat of a queen, the realm of the empress that awaits.
