‘Wings’

‘Come Then Said Wonderwings’
by Alice Polson (c 1909 New Zealand)

This cards is about flying, learning to fly, growing wings, letting go to air. And there are so many ways to fly – flap, flit and flutter, glide, sail and swoop, hover, float and drift, dive, climb and whoosh to name some. There is also the flights of ones heart in love, of mind in imagination, of spirit in inspiration. Flying is letting go of earth, the pull of gravity, and letting air lift and push and blow. Flight is freedom, flight is movement, flight is farsight, gaining the perspective of sky. This card is about letting go of that which holds one, releasing weights which tether, gaining wing and wind, letting the natural lift of air, and love, and dream raise you above so many things.
