‘Troll’

‘Look at my sons! You won’t find more beautiful trolls on this side of the moon!’
by John Bauer (1882 – 1918 Swedish)

This beautiful card is a meditation about the nature of beauty, where it may be found, how it may be recognized, what is its nature. There are many expressions of beauty, some external, some internal, or all a mix of things. Beauty can be fleeting or sustaining, enchanting or healing, striking or hidden, and many other displays. It can be shared by others, or remain in the ‘eye of the beholder’.

Fun fact – Trolls are surprisingly good at creating spells.
