‘Dryad’

‘Daphne’
by Arthur Rackam (1867 – 1939 English)

This card is about the awareness that all of nature is alive, all her creations have spirit. Trees, hills, streams, ponds, gardens, animals all have essences, manifestations, fairies. Dryads, nymphs, undine, garden fairies, mermaids are some such incarnations of natural settings.  This card reminds us to act with care, awareness, remembrance towards our natural world, and also ourselves as part of nature. Also each fairy spirit carries and offers their special magicks, which one can share. Sit by a tree, or garden, or hilltop. Listen, feel and wait, rest. Let magic surround you.
