‘Owl’

‘Two Fairies on Owl’
by Amelia Jane Murray (Lady Oswald) (1800 – 1896 British)

This card is about seeing ones way through times of darkness, and what allies might be engaged. Owls are generally associated with good luck, prosperity, and good fortune, but also can message other values. Owls may appear during times of change, when decisions are needed to be made, and in difficult times, may offer patience, truth, understanding, and wisdom to us when most needed. Owls can also indicate trusting ones intuition. Owls also see the world in a different light, nighttime, when the world is illuminated by a different spectrum, not unlike a reverse rainbow, and such can sometimes see things hidden by daylight.
