‘Nurture’

‘Garden Fairy’
by Julien Boncza-Tomaszewski (1834 – 1920 Polish)

This card is about care and the qualities of nurturing, nourishing oneself, others and the garden of eden all around. It is also about how the one who nurtures is also nurtured, how all care and love are reflected back, in ever greater strength and amount. Nuture aligns with many other qualities, as nature, as love, as health, as retreat and refuge, and similar other aspects. To tend to the garden is to tend to oneself, as the beauty and growth and light and color all create an environment of healing, of repair, of sustenance. And to tend to oneself, is also tending the garden, each nurturing one and another.
