‘Play’

‘Fairies Dancing Round’
by Florence Veric Hardy Small (1860 – 1933 British)

Play is so important! And it sounds so silly to say that, but it’s true! This card is about recognizing life is not all a serious affair, and having space to play is as healthy as it is fun.

Play loves fun, and
laugh and make believe,
creating her own world
of game, giggle and pretend,
and many magic things.

Heed her call,
Come here, let’s play!
And hear wisdom and choice
beneath her friendly voice
of how one spends the day.

May Play be in your life,
sharing your secret garden
of delights and wonder,
finding sanctuary within,
and playfulness all about.
