‘Bird’

‘Flower Fairy’
by John Anster Fitzgerald (1819 – 1906 English)

Birds are blessed beings, with many, many blessings to share – freedom, perspective, hope, new beginnings, intelligence, strength, courage, faith, purity, travel and so on. This card is about honoring birds and the beauty they bring with their colors and song and personalities. They also carry a lot of fairy energy, flying and singing and general mischief. To attract bird energy is to bring wings and winds of change into ones life, and the magic of flying from here to there, in air, in change, in transformation, all ways to arrive to where you want to go. There are so many ways to fly, flit and flap, soar and swoon, in dream, in spirit, in bliss, in love. Birds remind us that freedom in our birthright, that we are free in all ways, as wings in the sky.
