‘Caravanserai’

‘They went into the very heart of the forest, where they found a lovely garden’
by Maginal Wright Enright (1877 – 1966 American)

The card is about the nature of life and how it is always moving, is an ongoing journey, through space, through time. The Caravanserai card celebrates that everything is temporal, where we are, who we are, our companions, our hopes and dreams. Everything is always in motion, as a season, a pendulum, a trek, that each day is a renewal of the day before, but distinctly different, never here before and to never be again. So is the caravanserai, beginning each day’s movement forward, stopping at the day’s end, starting once again the next day. It is mystical, there is no beginning really, and no ending, only the mists of time and ever change. This card is about our lives, always forward, always onward.
