‘Mystic’

‘Deirdre at her Dun’
by George William Russell (1853 – 1919 Irish)

The mystic card is about recognizing more about what one does not know, rather than what one does. This card is about standing before, tuning into the unexplainable, the mystery of this existence, the sheer magic of it all. It is about witnessing without thought, seeing without projection, being still and silent and empty so that experience may fill into that emptiness, a wordless way of knowing.

The mystic seeks no answers, having left questions behind. Instead the mystic waits in the moment, feels the present, opens to the fullness of being and the great awareness that comes in that stillness and silence. The mystic has no answers, seeks none, is instead awed by the scale and scope and the world, stands lost and wordless facing what stretches before them, time without end, space without measure, wonder beyond imagination.
