‘This’
‘Love Lightened in Her Dewy Eyes, Love Piped a Melody’
By Elenore Abbott (1875 – 1935 American)
This beautiful card is about being present in the present, suspending all dreams and thoughts of tomorrow and yesterday, only looking to what surrounds one now and here, this. This card is tasting the salt of a drop of sea water and gaining understanding of the nature of the entire ocean, how tomorrow becomes today and that becomes this, all in the flow of things. The ‘This’ card is also about heightening awareness, how becoming present, by stilling one thoughts, one sees more in the moment, the richness, the color, the wonder of the immediate all around. Indeed, this card wakens one to the magic of the present, how eden is as much an awareness as a time or place.
