‘Everything’

‘Pansy and the Fairies’
by Maud Tindal Atkinson (1875 – 1954 British)

This card asks the question, what is life? And highlights the awareness that without this, then not that. Without suffering, there is no compassion, without struggle, there is no success, without shadow, there is no light, and on and so on. Hence the wisdom of life is for it to give one what one needs, rather than what one wants, for without everything, there is nothing.

And such is the richness of our lives, the wanderings, the surprises, the mysteries, made up of all the colors of the rainbow, all the emotions of the heart, all the wonderings of our thoughts. This card calls one to look at the bigger picture, to see the adventures, contrasts and depths alongside the ups and downs and sideways day to day living. Indeed, life is an exasperating situation, a predicament of opposites, of this and that all in a jumble, everything.

May life love you,
may life take care.
