‘Ballerina’

‘Ballerina’
by Florence Mary Anderson (1889 – 1945 Scottish)

The Ballerina card suggests several layers of consideration and action. Primarily this card reminds one to stay balanced, to act with grace, to preserve the dignity of beautiful movement, and finally to dance ‘as if no one is watching’. The world and its many ways often will try to throw us off balance, and this card calls one to not surrender to the carelessness of one’s surroundings and pressures, but rather to maintain one’s poise, style and grace. This card is aligned with the spiritual philosophy of ‘There is nothing to be done, but do it impeccably’. By tapping into the values of a ballerina, one chooses beauty, chooses love, chooses honor – higher values regardless of ones circumstances or environment. One also chooses the strength from upholding those values, and one’s integrity along with them.
