Some fairies have a talent for hearing wishes, unspoken or not, and sometimes will sprinkle fairy dust, or take more direct action, to help dreams come true. Some fairies can also watch your dreams, like a movie, and experience all the emotions and wishes and everything else. Fairies can be very empathetic and feel everything you do. They can also know much about you from your dreams and wishes.

Fairie’s wings are made of taffaria, a strong, silky, semi-transparent material that has all seven colors of the rainbow in it, red, purple, yellow, pink, blue, green and orange. The colors of their wings changes depending on how they are feeling or to match their personality.

A fairie’s eye color can also change depending on what they are feeling or doing. It also depends on the weather and light around them. Usually their eyes match the color of their wings.

Fairies use their wings for much more than flying. They can also use them to greet each other,  wave “hello. They can use their wings to express their moods, or pose them to look beautiful, or to “taste” their environment by feeling the air around them. They also use them to show how important they are in fairy society by showing off how bright or colorful they are. Wings also make comfortable cushions or can keep them warm when they lie down for a fairy nap.

Fairies don’t like iron at all. The smell makes them sick, and they don’t like the things made with iron. They avoid it. They don’t like bread or salt either and will avoid these things too.  A circle of salt around your favorite trinkets or jewelry will keep them safe from ‘borrowing’. Bread they just find bland tasting and messy with the crumbs and all.

Fairies love music, and greatly admire anyone playing any musical instrument, and expect some skill. They also love to dance, and will have all night (fairy time) dances. If you are ever trying to soothe or distract or placate a fairy, play some music.

Fairies have a weaknesses for shiny things, are especially attracted to polished items like jewelry and silver and gold. They also have a weakness for honey, it makes them drunk, so to attract fairies, have honey around your house. It’s also another way to apologize to a fairy if you need to. You can also attract them with cream and butter and cakes.

Fairies live in a different time zone, where an hour can be a day, a day can be a week and so on. They are basically immortal, or very long lived, so time doesn’t mean much to them, but can cause real issues when interacting with humans.

Fairies call Halloween ‘Troop Night’. They consider it a night of mischief, both good and bad, and will spend the night tossing spells, granting wishes, leaving gifts, playing pranks, creating havoc and generally raising a ruckus and other such activities. It is their version of New Years Eve.

Fairies cannot lie. Thus it is prudent to be mindful of what you ask them. And it is wise to never lie to them. It is one of the worst ways to insult a fairy, and pissed off fairies are not a good thing. Also, be mindful that truth and honesty aren’t always the same.

Fairies can heal things. It is one of their magicks, along with shapeshifting, turning invisible, photo kinesis (light magic), seeing into the future, communicating with animals, flying and other such abilities or tricks. Their healing magic is wonderful, able to heal both physically, emotional and spiritual ills.

Some fae are highly sexed, and orgies are not uncommon. Fairies are highly sensitive to their environments, and elementally natural. They are not so much as sexual as sensual.

Cats hate the fae, and the fae hate them back. It’s just not a good mix.

Fairies have a true name but usually will not say what it is. Instead they will use other names when dealing with humans. True names have magic attached to them, and can be spell binding. Also fairies usually do not reveal their real appearance. Instead they use ‘glamour’ which is like pixie dust to mask or hide their appearance.

Fairies are not fallen angels. They are nature based, through and through, utterly natural. They see angels as risen fairies. Best to stay away from this whole discussion, as it can turn really prickly really quickly.
