International Fairy Day

June 24th is International Fairy Day, (yay!), reputedly started by artist Jessica Galbreth back in the day. It is a day to celebrate all things ‘fairy’ including activities such as reading about fairies, dressing up with wings, having a fairy fest at home or with others, anything to celebrate (Celebration Blessing) the wonder, magic, beauty and mystery of fairies. Fairies represent many things to many different persons, and June 24th is a good day to explore those beliefs however one chooses to do so.
